BYTE THE BOMB is a two-round challenge that mixes simple circuits, logic puzzles, and a race against time. What you need is just teamwork, quick thinking, and a little guts.

Flow of Event

ROUND 1: Build the Digital Dice

Before you chase the bomb, you need to build the tool that guides your every move: a Random Number Generator (RNG) circuit.

Your first task is to build a Random Number Generator (RNG) — think of it like an electronic dice that gives numbers from 0 to 9 when you press a button.

Don’t worry — you don’t need any circuit knowledge. We’ll provide all the components and a simple step-by-step guide. Just follow it and get your RNG working within the time limit.

💣 Once done, this RNG becomes your dice for Round 2

ROUND 2: The Circuit Chase – Defuse the Bomb

Now, the real pressure begins.

Using your RNG circuit, you’ll play a fast-paced board game with your teammate. Imagine it like Snakes &

Ladders meets a spy mission:

💣Use your RNG to roll and move across the board

💣Land on tiles with hidden puzzles, traps, and clues

💣Solve quick logic or tech-based challenges

💣Reveal clues that tell you which wires are wrong

💣By the end, you’ll have enough clues to choose one wire to cut

You get only one chance.

Cut the wrong wire, and its game over.

Cut the right one, and you save the day.
